Hinduism: a major religious and cultural tradition of South Asia, which developed from Vedic religion. It is practiced mainly in India.

2 beliefs of the Hindu faith are:

Reincarnation-The soul leaves your body then inhabits another vessel (Human or Animal) after you die. This influences followers by encouraging them to be model citizens and people out of fear of being reincarnated as something undesirable.

Karma- Your actions have consequences, positive or negative, these consequences give you karma. It influences followers by enforcing that good deeds bring you good things and bad deeds bring you bad. Also ties into reincarnation by believing that the mire good karma you collect, the better your reincarnation vessel will be.
