I need help writing my thesis statement on The crucible. My research question is “who is the most despicable character in the pl

ay “the Crucible”, and why? I want to write on how Abigail is the main villain so any help is appreciated! This is what I have right now but feel free to revise: in Arthur Miller’s play “the crucible”, Abigail Williams is the most despicable character as her possessiveness led to many characters untimely deaths, she caused people in Salem pain through her nonsensical decisions.

Central Idea: "I think the saddest memory is the day we had to leave our farm."

Why: The first sentence is the main idea because the sentences that follow it support it. The first few sentences explain why the memory is so devastating. The last few sentences explain that the most devastating aspect was that the family was forced to leave for no legal or just reason.
