F(x)=x^3-3x^2-x+3 <br><br> Factor each by grouping
Lelechka [254]

Answer:

F(x) = (x - 3) (x + 1) (x - 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

F(x)=x³-3x²-x+3 = x² (x - 3) - (x - 3) = (x - 3) (x² - 1) = (x - 3) (x + 1) (x - 1)

Average Price A stock analyst plots the price per share of a certain common stock as a function of time and finds that it can be
mixer [17]

Answer:

42.49 unit price

Step-by-step explanation:

The average price function, S(ave), will be an integral of the price function over the period of time (6 years), that is

S(ave) = 1/6*\int\limits^6_0 {S(t)} \, dt

= 1/6*\int\limits^6_0 {37+6e^-0.03t} \, dt

Solving the integral, we have

S(ave) = 1/6*(37t - (6e^-0.03t)/0.03) with the limits being from t = 0 to t = 6

Hence, we have

S(ave) = 37 - \frac{200}{6}*(e^(-0.03*6) - 1)

This resolves to 42.49 unit price

Use long division to solve 38 divided by 4
4vir4ik [10]

If you know how to set up the format for long division, the answer is 9.5 because 4 goes into 3 zero times, and you don't necessarily need to write down the zero on top since it equals nothing in a whole number. then, 4 goes into 38 nine times. (yes 38 because you didn't do anything with the 3 so you just make it 38) 4 × 9 = 36. it doesn't exactly make 38, so you take away 36 from 38 and you are left with a remainder of 2. then to get no remainder, add a zero to the end of 38. so it would look something like 4/380 so you take down the zero next to the 2 so it makes 20, 4 × 5 = 20 and you are left with a remainder of 0 and the answer: 9.5 ( P.S.: added the decimal because it wasn't exactly equal when doing 4 × 9 so we had to add a zero)
