Answer:

The author shows that all these stories are linked to the presentation of scenarios and people that are common in the realities of these countries.

Explanation:

The author shows how the authors write according to what they live with and that this is the correct thing to do in the literature. In this way, English, American and African literary works must present their own people and their own landscape. the author only realized this after spending a long time enchanted with people from English and American books and the landscapes that were not recognizable in the reality of where she lived. She took a long time to understand that African works, portrayed things that she could identify with, unlike foreign works, because African works portrayed her own people, to which she was a part.

In at least one hundred words, explain the significance of the carp in Wang's "The Carp."
Nikolay [14]
In "The Carp," by Yun Wang, the use of the carp to represent something deeper is an example of Synecdoche. The carp is used to represent the pain and injustice of her father’s imprisonment. “The Carp is dedicated to Wang’s father, and many of the poems in her little book tell stories from that period.

Remember, a symbol is an object that takes on a meaning other than its literal meaning.

In the poem, the carp is literally a fish that takes on a deeper meaning. Confucius named his son Carp, and his son died young. The speaker's father was imprisoned and beaten. Therefore, the carp represents sadness and pain.

Why Was John wycliffe not popular with the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church?
lawyer [7]

Because Rome had demanded financial support from England, a nation struggling to raise money to resist a possible French attack. Wycliffe advised his local lord, John of Gaunt, to tell Parliament not to comply. He argued that the church was already too wealthy and that Christ called his disciples to poverty, not wealth. If anyone should keep such taxes, it should be local English authorities.

Such opinions got Wycliffe into trouble, and he was brought to London to answer charges of heresy. The hearing had hardly gotten underway when recriminations on both sides filled the air. Soon they erupted into an open brawl, ending the meeting. Three months later, Pope Gregory XI issued five bulls (church edicts) against Wycliffe, in which Wycliffe was accused on 18 counts and was called "the master of errors."
