How can the following simple sentences be joined to create a compound sentence? We are going to an apple orchard today. Then we
Andrei [34K]

The answer is option d) Both A and B

When joining two independent sentences to form a compound one, we may count on punctuation and conjunctions. Option A uses both, a comma and the conjunction "and" to establish the connection between the sentences. Option B does the same by using a semicolon to show the sentences are closely related. explain in your own words when you would include more than the author's name and page number in a parenthetical citation.
Serjik [45]
One would add first names if there were multiple authors mentioned with the same surname. If there are many more authors one would add "et al." inside of the parentheses. If the name of the author is unknown then one would add the title of the work which is being cited.

allsm [11]
It isn't certain, but since the strap was usually made of goat-skin, it could have been a symbol of fertility. By striking the women (often on the wrists) with it, it was said to ensure fertility, easy childbirth, and good health for them.
