If the government were to disappear, the worlds citizens would go into a Chaotic downfall. Crime rates would sky rocket up. And the economy would fail. Too many people around the world rely on their governments for assistance like unemployment checks and protection from foreign threat.
The economical boost of selling of cotton lead to the cotton gin being created during this period of time. Unfortunately, more cotton being produced meant more slaves being needed.
