why might a college choose to use Greek architectural elements sych as columns when designing the central building on campus?
ladessa [460]
Megalith is a large stone that has been used to construct a structure or monument, either alone or together with other stones. This word comes from the Ancient Greeks' wort megas meaning great, and lihtos meaning stone. The word megalithic describes structures made of such large stones. In composing this structures, no mortar or concrete were used. In Europe megaliths are, in general, constructions erected during the Neolithic or late stone age and Chalcolitic or Cooper age.

How on earth do you draw hands?
Soloha48 [4]

Hello there! i agree, drawing hands is SO hard!!

What i usually do is draw a circle as a base, lines symbolizing the fingers and their positions. For example, a peace sign would be two fingers sticking out the center, then the other three curved in the middle. Then I draw a sleeve around the circle and erase the excess lines. (This helps to make it look neater and easier to progress, at least for me.) Then draw finger looking shapes (ovals with a pointy-ish tip) around the original lines, and erase the excess lines when you're done.

I'm not that good of an artist, so this might not be the best method, but it's easy to start from. (I do more digital art, so it's pretty different there) But anyways, I hope this was helpful! :D

Consider the geometric motif and the use of calligraphy (the word) as art. How does the use of the word as art differ in creatin
Dovator [93]

Answer:

The similarities of the concept of paradise for both religious are that in the afterlife peace and harmony coexist. However, the difference between these religions is how access to the afterlife is different. For Christians, it is Heaven, paradise and then "the city". For Islam, the afterlife is achievable whether tou were born a Muslim or converted into one in later in life. A Calligraphy is a form of art because the way it is written shows the emotion that is portrayed. It is different from the Mosaics because mosaics already imply a thought about the art while for Calligraphy, it could be up for interpretation.
