Above all, a mangrove forest is alive. When the tides come in, water laps at the trunks of the trees. As the tides recede, sedim

ent washes around the mangroves' roots. Mangrove seedlings drop off their parent tree into the water when they're mature and float until they root in the soil. Mangrove leaves flutter in the wind and drift to the forest floor. Termites burrow in the mangroves' bark and dead wood; ants crawl on roots and branches. Snakes, crabs, parrots, lizards, alligators, fish, sponges, mosquitoes, snails, oysters, lobsters, mudskippers, and even sharks live here, depending on where the forest is located. In Bangladesh, you may see a tiger.
What is the most important supporting detail is in this paragraph.

Snakes, crabs, parrots, lizards, alligators, fish, sponges, mosquitoes, snails , oysters, lobsters, mudskippers, and even sharks live here, depending on where the forest is located.
Reason: The main idea is a mangrove forest is alive. Providing all the different animals that live around the mangrove shows that it is full of life. Animals wouldn’t live around something that was dead and didn’t provide them with the good they need.

Read the beginning of Denise's personal narrative.
eimsori [14]

Answer:

Option 2.) Denise needs to include herself as a character in the narrative.

Explanation:

Why? Because if this is a personal narrative, you always have to include yourself. If you don't include yourself in a personal narrative... then it's not a personal narrative, but in the first statement, it says "Read the beginning of Denise's personal narrative." So, we now know why Option 2 is the best answer. I hope this helps and leave a comment if it does!
