First distribute 5 to 2g and 5h

10g + 25h - 6g

Then combine like terms (terms with the same variable)

4g + 25h

And your done because you cannot combine 2 terms that have different variable :)

In a population distribution, a score of x= 28 corresponds to z= -1 and a score of X =34 corresponds to z= -0.50. Find the mean
katovenus [111]
Z = (X - mean)/sd
-1 = (28 - mean)/sd
mean - sd = 28 . . . (1)
-0.5 = (34 - mean)/sd
mean - 0.5sd = 34 . . . (2)

(1) - (2) => -0.5sd = -6
sd = -6/-0.5 = 12
From (1), mean = sd + 28 = 12 + 28 = 40

mean = 40
standard deviation = 12

Bill can paint a small house in 3 days, Sharon can paint a small house in 4 days and Wilber can paint a small house in 5 days. H
Paraphin [41]

To solve this problem, let us say that the action of totally painting a small house is called “1 job”. Therefore the rates of each person in painting the small house are:

Bill = 1 job / 3 days = 1 / 3

Sharon = 1 job / 4 days = 1 / 4

Wilber = 1 job / 5 days = 1 / 5

Therefore the total rate is calculated by simply adding the rates of the three.

(1 /  3) + (1 / 4) + (1 / 5) = 1 / x

where x is the number of hours it take if all them paint together

Calculating for by multiplying both sides by 60:

60 [(1 /  3) + (1 / 4) + (1 / 5) = 1 / x]

(60/3) + (60/4) + (60/5) = 60 / x

20 + 15 + 12 = 60 / x

47 = 60 / x

x = 60 / 47 hours

Answer:

60/47 hours

Find the value of 8!<br> O A. 56<br> O B. 16,777,216<br> O c. 40,320<br> O D. 64
Ksivusya [100]

8! is 40,320

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Step 1: Find 8! (8 factorial).

Factorial of 8 is the product of 8 and all the integers below 8.

⇒ 8! = 8×7×6×5×4×3×2×1

        = 40,320

Your coordinates are (x,y), here you just need to figure what 'x' is given that 'y' is equal to -3. So, just plug in -3 for 'y' in the equation and then solve for 'x', like so: 4x + 5(-3) = -7 ... then just use algebra to solve for what 'x' has to be. Hope this helps!

Need help with a equation
balandron [24]

26.6

RS is similar to NM, and TP is similar to OL.

If they're similar they have to be proportional. So:

\begin{gathered} \frac{NM}{RS}=\text{ }\frac{OL}{TP}\text{ } \\ \frac{7}{RS}=\frac{5}{19} \\ RS\text{ = }\frac{19\left(7\right)}{5} \\ RS=\text{ 133/5} \\ RS=26.6 \end{gathered}
