How do organisms compete for space in the often crowded intertidal zone?

Biology

Answer: Some organisms navigate competition for space by specializing on different niches or depths in the intertidal. When scarce space does open up, organisms that are the fastest dispersers will colonize the space first and outcompete the other organisms. As the tides rise and fall, the salinity (salt concentration) constantly changes. Animals living in the intertidal zone must be able to tolerate wide salinity variations. If sufficient nutrients are available, intertidal animals reproduce rapidly, so they constantly compete for space, light, and food.

In the proton-proton chain, four hydrogen nuclei are converted to a helium nucleus. This does not happen spontaneously on earth
SCORPION-xisa [38]

Four hydrogen nuclei are converted to helium nuclei in the proton-proton chain. This does not occur naturally on Earth because the process requires it. extremely high temperatures, pressures, and densities

The proton-proton chain is a series of reactions that fuses four hydrogen nuclei to form one helium nucleus. The energy is derived from the mass difference between the four hydrogen nuclei with higher masses and the single helium nucleus with lower masses. Energy is released when hydrogen is fused into helium: mass to energy conversion. Because mass is created during the proton-proton chain, energy is released. However, this is essentially the end of the story for the nuclear fusion reactions that occurred in the early Universe, known as Big Bang Nucleosynthesis.

What is the mRNA sequence for the template strand DNA sequence?3' TACAAACTAGAA 5' *
True [87]

Answer:

5' AUGUUUGAUCUU 3'

Explanation:

The nucleotide bases for mRNA are Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and Uracil. Uracil replaces Thymine (it's DNA counterpart). From this, you can eliminate options C and D.

Then it is just matching pairs: Adenine = Uracil , Cytosine = Guanine.

The researcher had hypothesized that the addition of the vitamin that is similar in structure to NADH would increase the activit
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

It is expected that the mutation helps the enzyme to bind to the vitamin, and this interaction may be necessary to maintain the activated state of the enzyme.

Explanation:

The NADH dehydrogenase converts nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) from its reduced form (NADH) to the oxidized NAD+, thereby this enzyme is required for generating ATP by electron transport.
