with regardes to answer C you will not necssisarly need to remeber it unless your teacher implies so which is still not going to be the point. as well as D the point of reading persuasive writing is to change the readers point of view(thinking on the topic). whether or not the reader cries or laugh is not the point the author is trying to get across he might use these tacits to more or less help convince you though.
