giving her gifts and celebrating might be a more effective form of encouragement because she can enjoy herself and be happy without a cigarette. i also feel like c would only make her feel bad but not necessarily make her stop and A doesn't work for everyone if anything she might start to believe she can't quit and continue to smoke
