once I visited a village on the festival of Basant. A fair was being held on the bank of a small river. I walked to the fair along with my friend. We met many villagers on the way. They were also going to see the fair. They were wearing new clothes. They looked very happy. The women were going to the fair in groups. They were singing folk songs.
