AB is a straight line workout the size of angle X
Hoochie [10]

The x value will be 109°. The straight line formed a 180° angle. Solving the equation yields the angle.

<h3>What are supplementary angles?</h3>

Supplementary angles are two angels whose sum is 180°. When a straight line intersects a line, two angles form on each of the sides of the considered straight line.

Those two-two angles are supplementary angles in two pairs. That is, if two supplementary angles are adjacent to each other, their exterior sides form a straight line.

The straight line formed a 180° angle. The resulting equation is as follows:

⇒x+42°+29°=180°

⇒x=109°

Hence, the value of the x will be 109°

The complete question is:

AB is a straight line.

Kite WXYZ is graphed on a coordinate plane. What is the approximate perimeter of the kite? Round to the nearest tenth. 10.6 unit
Archy [21]

<u>Answer-</u>

<em>Perimeter of the kite is </em><em>16.2 units</em>

<u>Solution-</u>

As WXYZ is a kite, so two disjoint pairs of consecutive sides are congruent, i.e WX=XY and WZ=ZY

So, perimeter of the kite WXYZ is,

=2(\overline{WX}+\overline{WZ})

And

\overline{WX}=\sqrt{(1-3)^2+(1-4)^2}=\sqrt{(-2)^2+(-3)^2}=\sqrt{4+9}=\sqrt{13}

\overline{WZ}=\sqrt{(1-3)^2+(1+3)^2}=\sqrt{(-2)^2+(4)^2}=\sqrt{4+16}=\sqrt{20}

So, perimeter will be,

P=2(\sqrt{13}+\sqrt{20})=16.15\approx 16.2\ units

Are lines of symmetry also diagonals in a polygon? Explain.
Vaselesa [24]
Well not all lines are lines of symmerty, because if you draw a let's say a rectangle on a piece of paper and draw a diagonal line through it, well the two sides don't really lie perfectly on one another!!

The product of 2 consecutive #s is 4160 what are the numbers?
KengaRu [80]
So the so the product of two consecutive numbers is 4160 or
x(x+1)=4160
distribute
x^2+x=4160
subtract 4160 from both sides
x^2+x-4160=0
find the factor (if you want to know how, just ask in the comments)
(x-64)(x+65)=0
so the answer is x could be 64 or -65
so the number that work are 64,65 and -65,-64
