Frederick Douglass was a slave and he never got to see his mother except at night and in the morning she would be gone. Frederick not only knew that slavery was wrong but he hated it. He had many masters and one day he saw a boat and just that made him cry and that's because he hated being a slave while being judged by the color of his skin. He hated slavery and wanted it to end.

Captain Cannot loved slavery and he thought that it was right to treat black people worse than other people who were white. He worked on a ship for his whole life and like I said he loved treating them wrong just because of the color of their skin. He agreed with slavery and was a cruel man known for beating them for stupid reasons and he also thought that selling them like property was right and it wasn't. The view points differ because on thought slavery was right and the other thought slavery was wrong.

I hope this helps.

Illustration is a very important text feature because it provides an imagery to the reader. Illustration is what makes a story more interesting. It provides a base for the imagination the reader can create in their mind.

Honestly I hope this is what the question meant. Good luck!

Essay life in a city is boon
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

City or Village - where shall we live? The recent trend is to settle in urban areas. Why? People migrate from villages to cities in search of jobs. Agriculture and cottage industries in villages is no longer an option to earn one's livelihood. Industrial and white collared jobs are the main attraction.

The city has quick means of transport as compared to the village. Buses, trains, rickshaws and private vehicles has made travelling long distances to ones work place, no problem at all, in the city.

The next attraction in a city is better medical facilities. From surgeries to transplants and even plastic surgery to enhance your beauty, the city has it all. Most villages have educational institutions mainly to the high school level. If there are colleges it is mainly for streams like Arts, Science and Commerce. However, in a city you are spoilt for choice. College education includes engineering, medical, veterinary, agriculture, space and aeronautics.

However there is a downside to this rosy picture. A city brings to mind slums and garbage everywhere. Entire families live on footpaths. Increase in population has led to abject poverty as there are not enough jobs to go around. People live in tiny flats close to each other with no privacy.

Garbage is a problem that no one has been able to solve in most cities. Besides the bad smell, garbage leads to breeding of mosquitoes and houseflies which in turn gives rise to malaria, dengue and so on.

So which one should it be, City or Village? If you have an adequate source of income the clean fresh village life would be better. However in today's fast-paced life of computers and rockets, living in a city has become a necessity.

hope this helps !.....
