I like writing fiction. I usually write what I think went through the minds of teens that were alive during historical events. But this is more of an opinionated question

1. Masks do not always help. Coronavirus can spread by going through your eyes.
2. Violence is going up during the Coronavirus crisis. There has been at least 5 shootings since the pandemic began.
3. Remote learning can have a negative affect on the heart and eyes. Eyesite goes down, and radium affects the heart.
4. There is a lack of testing in the United States to reopen the economy.

The correct answer would be metaphor because a metaphor compares two things without using like or as while doing so. A simile dose use "like" or "as" when comparing.
