Which impact did the steam engine have on railroad travel
Fynjy0 [20]

The invention of the steam engine impacted industry in a variety of ways, not the least of which involved the European exploration and colonization of the African continent. What were the immediate and long-term effects of using the atomic bomb?
Allisa [31]
The immediate effects are easy. Miles of city would be leveled and all inhabitants of that area would be almost instantly killed. The long-term effects would be there would be so much radiation your body could go through nasty mutation and you'd need to be treated if you survived but if don't survive you'd have a long agonizing death. Also all neighboring cities would have radiation surging through them.

What happens when a bond becomes due?ayou pay it back to the issuer, minus interest.bthe issuer will pay you back, plus interest
AveGali [126]
I think the answer would be you pay it back to the issuer minus the interest since most bonds have periodical payment for the interests. However, this depends on the issuer but oftentimes the case would be as such. Hope this helps.

Why did key basic industries lose business
poizon [28]

Key basic industries, such as railroads, textiles, and steel had barely made a profit. Railroads lost business to new forms of transportation (trucks, buses, and private automobiles, for instance). Coal mining was especially hard-hit, in part due to stiff competition from new forms of energy, including hydroelectric power, fuel oil, and natural gas.
