X= -530

This is because:

2(x+60)+2(30)=200
•distribute the 2s into each parentheses
2x+1200+60=200
•combine like-terms
2x+1260=200
•isolate 2x by subtracting 1260 from both sides of the equation
2x=200-1260
•subtract 1260 from 200
2x= -1260
•divide both sides by 2 so you can have x all alone
2x/2= -1260/2
Hence
x= -530

Hey can you please help me posted picture of question :)
Levart [38]
Answer:
The roots are: \frac{ \sqrt{3} + 3 }{2} and \frac{- \sqrt{3} + 3 }{2}

Explanation:
First, we would need to put the equation is standard form which is as follows:
ax² + bx + c = 0
This can be done as follows:
4x² - 12x + 9 - 3 = 0
4x² - 12x + 6 = 0

By comparison, we would find that:
a = 4
b = -12
c = 6

To get the roots, we would substitute in the quadratic formula shown in the attached image.

Doing this, we would find that:
either x = \frac{ \sqrt{3} + 3 }{2}

or x = \frac{- \sqrt{3} + 3 }{2}

Hope this helps :)

As part of their training, air force pilots make two practice landings with instructors, and are rated on their performance. The

This is actually good, because it helps improvement more. They may do a ¨good¨ landing, but there could still be flaws. Due to my own experiences in reacting to criticism and praise, praise will make you calm down, and think you are perfect, making you more lazy the second time you do it, thinking it will all be okay. Criticism toughens you up, and helps you do better everytime you do what you do.

Shane bought lunch for $5.38 and a shirt for $15.95. He then used the rest of his money to buy a book. He spent a total of $38.1
vovangra [49]
Sense the total would only be $38.12, we would then only want to find out how much would the book be, and that would be it. We would then want to add both how much the shirt and also the lunch was in total, and by doing this, we would the have to subtract this amount from the total that Shane has spent in total.

\boxed{5.38+15.95 = 21.33 \ \sf(the \ amount \ of \ both \ lunch \ and \ shirt)}

As we noted above, we then subtract both this total, and the amount that Shane has spent in this day.

\boxed{38.12-21.33 = \bf{16.79} \Leftarrow \ (the \ cost \ of \ book)}

Your answer: The book that Shane has purchased was a total of only 16.79.

16.79 would be your answer.
