Circumference of 150.7in. what is the area

Mathematics

Nikolay [14]3 years ago

                 Circumference of any circle = (pi) (diameter)

                                        150.7 inches = (pi) (diameter)

Divide each side by (pi):      150.7/pi  inches = diameter

Radius = (1/2) (diameter)  =    150.7/ 2pi    inches

                 Area of any circle = (pi) (radius)²

              Area of THIS circle = (pi) (150.7in / 2pi)²

                                             = (pi) (150.7in)² / 4 pi²

                                             =       (150.7in)² / 4 pi

                                             =         1,807.2 inch² .

Hugo decided to pay $2 a week to his brother to buy a bicycle. The equation y – 10 = –2(x – 10) models the amount of money he ow
aev [14]
The bicycle costs $30 and Hugo finishes paying after 15 weeks. When he has paid for the bike, y=0 because he owes nothing. So -10=-2x+20, 2x=30, x=15. And the cost of the bike is 2×15=$30.

Exhibit 5-9 Forty percent of all registered voters in a national election are female. A random sample of 5 voters is selected. R
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

Let X the random variable of interest "number of registered voters" in a random sample of n =5, on this case we now that:

X \sim Binom(n=5, p=0.4)

The probability mass function for the Binomial distribution is given as:

P(X)=(nCx)(p)^x (1-p)^{n-x}

Where (nCx) means combinatory and it's given by this formula:

nCx=\frac{n!}{(n-x)! x!}

So then the best answer for this cas would be:

b. the number of registered voters in the nation

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

The binomial distribution is a "DISCRETE probability distribution that summarizes the probability that a value will take one of two independent values under a given set of parameters. The assumptions for the binomial distribution are that there is only one outcome for each trial, each trial has the same probability of success, and each trial is mutually exclusive, or independent of each other".

Solution to the problem

Let X the random variable of interest "number of registered voters" in a random sample of n =5, on this case we now that:

X \sim Binom(n=5, p=0.4)

The probability mass function for the Binomial distribution is given as:

P(X)=(nCx)(p)^x (1-p)^{n-x}

Where (nCx) means combinatory and it's given by this formula:

nCx=\frac{n!}{(n-x)! x!}

So then the best answer for this cas would be:

b. the number of registered voters in the nation

Find the equivalent exponential expression.<br> (4^2)4
steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

4^8

Step-by-step explanation:

If the second 4 is an exponent, as in (4^2)^4, then multiply the exponents.

(4^2)^4 = 4^(2 * 4) = 4^8

18. Given PQ | BR. Then find the measure of x
maria [59]

<em>Answer:</em>

<em>∠x = 70°</em>

<em>Step-by-step explanation:</em>

<em>Given that PQ||BR</em>

<em>Line PQ and BR with transversal AC,</em>

<em>∠x + ∠ACR = 180°     {Co-interior angles}</em>

<em>⇒∠x + 110° = 180°       {From what I can see it looks like 110.}</em>

<em>⇒∠x = 180° - 110°</em>

<em>⇒</em><em>∠x = 70°</em>
