Think about a time when you pretended to be less affected by something than you actually were. Maybe you pretended to be less up

set or sad about a disappointment, or maybe you pretended to be less scared in a movie. Reflect on why you behaved that way. What are you doing when you pretend to be less emotionally invested? Over the course of the next two days, observe your behavior to see if you are “acting” in any way to minimize your feelings to outside observers. Take note of any time you do that and consider why you might be doing that.

Answer:

One time I was riding a bus with my family, traveling around a resort we were staying at. We had been promised that day that we would go skiing, which was a big delight - the resort was well known for its amazing slopes. Soon after we entered our room to prepare for the long day ahead of us, my sibling insisted that he wanted to go swimming - something of which he could do anytime he wanted. After refusing to leave the room until we agreed, we had to take off our gear and go to the pool. I was frustrated and disappointed, but I didn't lash out. Instead, I sat with my mom in one of the hot tubs while my brother swam in and out of the building.

My brother changes our plans quite often, and sometimes it's hard to deal with him. Sometimes it's better not to cause an argument, however, sometimes it's not always healthy to keep your feelings stuffed inside. If we don't get angry sometimes, then our feelings simply swell up inside of us, and we turn into a ticking bomb. It's okay to be upset sometimes, as long as it's within reason. Humans are one of the only animals with such a range of emotions - so why hide them?

How do the purpose of a cover letter and a resume differ ?
kow [346]

Answer:

A cover letter is a professional document used to introduce yourself to an employer and explain why you want a specific job. Unlike a resume, which is an objective overview of your qualifications, the purpose of a cover letter is to give you space to prove your qualifications make you the best fit for a job opening.

Please help i am giving away brainliest
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer: 1. though the argument is valid in itself it leaves room to still ask questions. "why didnt you do it before" "how do i know you're not lying" So, to the teacher this argument might seem like more of an excuse. The student might have had full intentions to complete the project last night, but it just so happened to be the one night the internet was down. now, you can put blame on the students lack on time management skills, but as teachers they should look at the bigger picture. What steps led up to the  point where the student only had last night to complete a project. It could be that the student has many other responsibilities to take care of. Due to this the argument should be valid, but not excused.

A better argument would be to explain to the teacher what circumstances the student is facing which caused them to only have that night to complete the project. Instead of just giving a surface lever argument dig deep into the moments leading up to this point. If the student has learning disabilities this could also be a great factor in determining why the student decided to work on the project last minute. For example, with ADHD many people tend to just forget things. In some people ADHD makes it mentally draining to do something they dont want to do especially when timed.
