Answer:

- The north was concerned that the South would want to impose its "exclusive organization" on the whole Union. When the extension of slavery into western territories became a topic of discussion in Congress, these suspicions came true.

- The south was upset because Slavery became ever more controversial as it began to spread westward due to non-slaveholding white settlers' aversion to competing with slaveholders in new territory.

- I sadly don't know, and couldn't find anything about the abolitionists, so I hope someone else can help you out on that one!

What happened at the Alamo?
uysha [10]

Answer: This is what really happened!

Following a 13-day siege, Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna reclaimed the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San Antonio, Texas, United States), killing the Texian and immigrant occupiers. ... About 100 Texians were then garrisoned at the Alamo.

Explanation:

All that is certain about the fate of David Crockett is that he died at the Alamo on the morning of March 6, 1836 at age 49. According to many accounts, between five and seven Texians surrendered during the battle, possibly to General Castrillon.

6. Why was the Virginia Company founded?
kumpel [21]

The Virginia Company of London was a joint-stock company chartered by King James I in 1606 to establish a colony in North America. Such a venture allowed the Crown to reap the benefits of colonization—natural resources, new markets for English goods, leverage against the Spanish—without bearing the costs.
