!!!!!100 POINTS AND BRAINLIEST PLEASE HELP!!!!!
SVEN [57.7K]
How come some people are so much more happy than others?  Everyone in Athens say I am as beautiful as Hermia, but that doesn't matter because Demetrius doesn't think so.  He's making a mistake by running after Hermia, and I'm making a mistake by loving him.  Love is a powerful thing that can change our viewpoints, and it can make us blind in our eyes.  That's why paintings of Cupid always show him as being blind.  Also, love lacks judgement, and is reckless like a child (that's why Cupid is shown as a child).  At first, Demetrius said he loved me.  He made promises!  But then he fell in love with Hermia and broke them all.  I want Demetrius to like me, so I'll tell him that Hermia and Lysander plan to run away! Then he'll be grateful to me.

Is this what you were looking for?  I hope it helps! :)

Read these sentences from paragraph 3 of “The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain” and answer the question.
melisa1 [442]

Answer:

imitation of

Explanation:

According to the sentences from paragraph 3 of “The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain, the narrator talks about how a so-called high class Negro still longs to be like the white man, abandoning his racial identity.

The words that best replace the underlined word "aping to" to retain the same meaning is "imitation of".

This is because, the meaning of the word "aping" means to copy someone or something in a weird, unusual way.
