My inability to get a decent eight hours of sleep is beginning to tell in my studies as i have been found dozing off in class on more than one occasion and my concentration levels have not been optimal.

I believe this issue of high temperature in the house which causes discomfort and is affecting me in school can be rectified with the installation of an air conditioner in the house. Dad, i know you want me to succeed in class and not to lose sleep because of the heatwave, so i believe you will consider my request favorably. I love you.

So, instead of saying The climax of the event was when we ordered pizza, it may be better to say The climax of the event was ordering pizza.
