On Thursday, rrr centimeters of rain fell on Deborah's garden. On Saturday, 15\%15%15, percent more rain fell on the garden.
xenn [34]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete question

<u>On Thursday, r centimeters of rain fell on Deborah's garden. On Saturday, 15% more rain fell on the garden. </u>

<u>The expression r+0.15r describes the number of centimeters of rain Deborah's garden got on Saturday. We can also use the expression 1.15r to represent the same quantity. </u>

<u>Match each amount in the situation with the expression that represents it.</u>

<u />

Since we have given that

Let amount of rainfall on Deborah's garden on Thursday be 'r'.

According to question, 15% more rainfall on the garden on Saturday.

So, Amount of rainfall on Saturday would be

r+\dfrac{15}{100}r\\\\=r+0.15r\\\\=1.15r

Hence, Deborah got 1.15r amount of rainfall on Saturday.

PLEASE HELP ME: ASAP
VashaNatasha [74]

Ok so

Corresponding sides and angles are a pair of matching angles or sides that are in the same spot in two different shapes.

It would basically be a ratio (7:14)

My best help would be this

If two triangles are similar, then the ratio of the area of both triangles is proportional to the square of the ratio of their corresponding sides. This proves that the ratio of areas of two similar triangles is proportional to the squares of the corresponding sides of both the triangles.

I really hope this helps, dont have a lot of time today to answer a lot of questions so have a great day and lmk if this helps!

What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (8, -4)(8,−4) and (6, 2) ?(6,2)?
Nikitich [7]

Given:

The line passes through the points (8,-4) and (6,2).

To find:

The slope of the line.

Solution:

If a line passes though two points (x_1,y_1)\text{ and }(x_2,y_2), then the slope of the line is

m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

The line passes through the points (8,-4) and (6,2). So, its slope is

m=\dfrac{2-(-4)}{6-8}

m=\dfrac{2+4}{-2}

m=\dfrac{6}{-2}

m=-3

Therefore, the slope of the line is -3.

Please help I will reward brainly!!! Need done ASAP
Tomtit [17]
To solve the question we use the following analogy:
Given that the odds of winning is a/b, then the probability is b/(a+b)
hence to solve the question we proceed as follows:

a]
P(E)=11/36
odds against E=(36-11)/11
simplifying this gives us:
25/11

b] P(E)=31/36
odds against E=(36-31)/31
simplifying this we get:
5/31
hence odds in favor of E=31/5

c]P(E)=32/36
odds in favor of E will be:
36/(36-32)
simplifying the above we get:
36/4
=9/1

d]
P(E)=30/36
odds against E will be:
(36-30)/36
simplifying this we obtain:
6/36
=1/5

e] P(E)=13/36
odds against E will be:
(36-13)/13
simplifying this we obtain:
23/13
