King’s imagery discredits the arguments of those urging civil rights activists to be patient and wait for change by describing what pain and suffer they have experienced. He explains that they have waited long enough, and can’t wait any longer. To add on, he adds, “But when you have seen viscous mobs lynch your mothers and fathers at will and drown your sisters and brothers at whim;” By this he’S saying that they have been through much hurt and hate and will not wait for peace and justice.

Form of Christianity based on Greek heritage practiced in the Byzantine Empire
aleksley [76]

Answer:

Orthodox Christianity

Explanation:

The Orthodox Christianity was the form of Christianity that was practiced in the Byzantine Empire after the split of the Church into two divisions. This type of Christianity was practiced on the territory of the Byzantine Empire, thus Asia Minor, parts of the Middle East, and the Balkans, later Russia as well. Unlike the Catholic Church, the Orthodox one was never given too much power, and it has been separated from the government for almost all of the time in all of the places where it has been practiced. It has also been much less restrictive toward its followers as to what should they do, when should they go to church, how to live their lives etc.

What happened to grazing land when Fort Defiance located near Canyon de Chelly?
densk [106]

When Fort Defiance was built in 1851 near Canyon de Chelly, Navajo territory, the Indians were forbidden from using the valuable grazing land. As a result, the Fort Defiance was constantly at odds with the Navajos, and two major attacks were launched against the fort in 1856 and 1860.

On April 29, 1860, about 1,000 Navajo warriors attacked the US Army garrison at Fort Defiance in New Mexico Territory, which is now part of Arizona. The Navajo launched a surprise attack but were defeated by 150 American defenders from the 3rd Infantry led by Captain Oliver L. Shepherd. Important event of history.
