            The Yuan dynasty is considered as one of the first foreign led dynasty in China. The Yuan dynasty ruled the ancient China in between Ming dynasty and the Song dynasty. The dynasty was also known as the  Great Yuan.

              It was founded by the Mongol ruler, Kublai Khan. He was the fierce ruler of the Mongol Borjigin clan. The Yuan dynasty established around 1271 and lasted till 1368. It ruled most part of China. It was a huge boundary comprising most of the modern day China.

                 It was for the first time that China was subjugated by the foreign conquerors and also became a part of the larger political entity, that is the vast Mongol empire.
