Delicious77 [7]
Heating is still done largely by burning fuels, like it has been in the past, although people now have central heating to circulate the warm air throughout the house. Some people use electric heaters and people used to use cool water to cool their houses. Now people use electric air conditioners.

How many chromosomes does a child inherit from his or her parents
pochemuha

Ans.

In humans, there are total of 46 chromosomes in each cell that show 23 pairs of chromosome. During reproduction, meiosis occurs in germ cells that leads to formation of daughter cells or gametes that contain half of the chromosomes as present in parent cells. Thus, each gamete (either male or female) contains 23 chromosome.

During fertilization, fusion of male gamete or sperm(with 23 chromosomes) and female gamete or ovum(with 23 chromosomes) to form zygote that develops into multi-cellular offspring with 46 chromosomes.

Thus, 'a child inherit 46 chromosomes from his or her parent (23 chromosomes from each parent).'

How does a sarcomere function?
Sergeu [11.5K]

The structure of the sarcomere affects its function in several ways. The overlap of actin and myosin gives rise to the length-tension curve, which shows how sarcomere force output decreases if the muscle is stretched so that fewer cross-bridges can form or compressed until actin filaments interfere with each other.- wikipidiea
