Samurai and knights: were the similarities greater than the differences? answers
irina1246 [14]
The differences were far greater. For starters, they had different beliefs, and not only religious beliefs but about life in general. They also used different weaponry and went through different types of training. Knights would also have land and control it while pledging allegiance to the King, while Samurai were not as powerful as nights were and were more just soldiers. They also came from different social backgrounds. If a knight's king would die they would just pledge their allegiance to the new king, while Samurai's lord's death would mean more or less the end of a samurai's job.

How does the Monroe Doctrine compare to George Washington’s isolationism policy?
Aleksandr [31]

Monroe had joined isolationism policy as a major part of the US foreign policy.

Explanation:

Whereas, George Washington always used to convince the people that one should be very cautious while making dealing with other countries and making alliances and long term agreements.

Therefore, Isolationism policy came to avoid military and political agreements with other countries.

Monroe in his speech declared that no colonisation will take place in future by the British. And any strip taken by them towards against this policy will be declared dangerous and affecting peace and harmony.
