Why did the u.s. government impose so many regulations on industrial and food production during the war?
aalyn [17]
The U.S. government imposes many regulations on industrial and food production during the war due to the change in dynamics in the country. With many people off at war, there are less people able to work in factories. During war, there is a need for certain materials to make weapons and to send food to troops. In the U.S., there was much propaganda that if you weren't rationing, then you were unpatriotic. These regulations helped fund the war and made sure that the military had needed materials.

15 points for help!!
Goshia [24]

Answer:

 • The cartoon plays on the common idea that bureaucracy is overly complicated, and that it requires a lot of paperwork to perform even the most simple of tasks. People also assume that this ludicrous amount of paperwork makes bureaucracy slow and inefficient.
 • While bureaucracy can be slow and inefficient at times, people often forget that the paperwork is there for specific reasons. Leaving a written record of every action taken ensures that accidents happen less often, and that accountability is maintained. Also, bureaucratic procedures can be slow because of the amount of people that require them or due to the complexity of some issues. So the stereotype of bureaucracy is for the most part undeserved.

Toward the end of the civil war, what did general Sherman’s special field order number 15 do?
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

B. It gave 40 acres of land and a mule to freed African Americans

Explanation:

Special Field Orders No. 15 confiscated 400,000 acres of land in a coastline strip, from Charleston, South Carolina to Jacksonville, Florida, and divided it into parcels of around 40 acres. Those parcels were given to around 18, 000 formerly enslaved African Americans.

In a short paragraph, answer the following question.
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

See explanation below.

Explanation:

For family, church, and civil government to work together to serve people, each group must have the desire to provide help in a certain area, such as poverty. Then, the family can work to help their own family members and reach out to others. Those who are members of a church can work with the families and civil government to identify and reach out to help those in poverty. And the civil government can also provide help, while coordinating with families and churches. The more each group agrees together on who needs help and how to help them, the more help will be given.
