How can carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins be detected in foods?
tino4ka555 [31]
The Benedict’s Test is the test which can detect carbohydrates and glucose in foods. During this process, the sample or the food is placed into a test tube and then some drops of Benedict's solution is added to it,and is then put into a beaker of boiling water. When the mixture of food and the Benedict substance turns reddish orange instead of staying blue, this means that it is positive. The mixture has simple sugar or has carbohydrates or glucose. On the other hand, lipids are tested using the brown paper test. When the paper turns transparent when a drop of food is put into it, it means that is is positive as well. When you want to test if the food has proteins, you have to test it with Biurets. Observe if the color change when you put some Biurets solution to the food sample. It is positive if the food turns light purple. Test if the food is positive with starches through the use of iodine. Food having iodine drops should turn purple instead of staying a yellow color.

Answer:

A. Biodiversity will decrease .

Explanation:

 • The loss of a keystone species can cause extinction or mass destruction of other species that are dependent on it because keystone species are those species which significantly influence the existence and survival of other species in an ecosystem
 • Since, beavers are considered as the keystone species, their removal from the ecosystem will cause loss of many other species in the ecosystem resulting in Decrease in the biodiversity of that ecosystem.

geniusboy [140]
Early in mitosis, during prophase and prometaphase, the nucleus, nucleolus and nuclear envelope begin to dissolve in preparation for cell division. During telophase, which is the final stage in mitosis,, there is a reversal of effects of prophase and prometaphase; nucleus, nucleolus and nuclear envelope are again formed.

What are the possible consequences if only one egg is implanted
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]
are we talking human reproduction? in this case only 1 egg is implanted. in unusual cases there could be 2 eggs implanted meaning fraternal twins. if 1 egg splits, we get identical twins. with only one egg implanted, there is only 1 kid being produced.

the female has eggs stored from birth. 1 ovary 'pops' once a month to either be discarded via a period or implanted after fertilization. multiple eggs released is usually the effect of fertility drugs making many eggs get released at once. this is unusual unless fertility drugs are in use
