The Battle of Bunker Hill came when the settlers discovered that British forces planned to dominate the hills around Boston. With this information in hand, the colonists managed to obtain a great advantage, since they managed to move their troops to Bunker and Breed's Hill, before the arrival of the British. When the British realized what was going on, there was a great battle that ensued as a great confusion, with casualties in both armies. However, colonial troops ran out of ammunition and went on hand-to-hand combat, which gave the British an advantage and forced colonial troops to withdraw.
