Cultural diffusion is where one culture will adopt elements of another. Like when Christopher Columbus sailed across the ocean and landed in America. When he got their he brought a variety of things with him, religion(Catholicism), disease, and much more to the land. Doing so he slowly impacted the indigenous people, imprinting them with his own culture.
