Joining a political party allows people to work with individuals with similar views on the way in which the government should operate. Once you are part of a political party, you can help to organize events that promote a candidate who you support. Along with this, you can volunteer your time to make calls or campagain for your favorite candidate. Besides helping individuals get elected, members of the party can express their voice on who they think should be a candidate for president, as primaries in several states require citizens to be affiliated with a party in order to vote.

Non communist offered opposition to communism that started in 1917 as a Revolution in Russia and spread to reach world dimensions during the Cold War. The non communism holds different political positions including the liberal, socialists and democrats. The Russian White movement is still remembered as the first organization that dedicated itself towards opposition of communism

The Three Fifths Compromise resolved the issue of counting slaves towards population in regards to representation in the House of Representatives.</span>
