All three branches have the power to check and balance the other.

1. Executive branch can check the legislative branch by vetoing laws in favour of congress .

2. Legislative branch can check the executive branch when a  laws  is passed over the veto by 2/3 majority in  each house.

3. Judicial branch can check both the legislative and  executive branch
