Irony can be described as a twist of fate in which what readers least expect to happen takes place. At the end of act 2, scene 3

, the reader learns that Walter has lost his shar of the investment money. Why are Walter's lines from act 1, scene 1 an example of irony?
Walter: . . . Baby, don't nothing happen in this world 'less you pay somebody off!

The Irony is that walter says, unless you have money to pay off people in this world, nothing will happen for you.... walter then loses his investment money.....
