Philosophies known as the "hundred schools of thought" developed between 600 and 221 BCE. One of the most popular was based on t

he teachings of a philosopher named Confucius. Read the passage about Confucius's life and travels. Then answer the question below. In 551 BCE, Confucius was born in the state of Lu. Confucius tried to convince the king of Lu to follow his ideas. But the king didn't listen. This frustrated Confucius, so he left his home state and traveled through the Warring States for about 15 years. In each state Confucius visited, he looked for a ruler who would listen to his ideas. Along the way, Confucius taught many students. These students passed on Confucius's ideas to others, and his ideas became well known. If Confucius's experience was common for teachers at the time, which of the following could you conclude from the passage? Select all that apply.

What issue is increasingly important as the average age of Americans increases?
Papessa [141]

Funding for social security. With more Americans retiring and claiming those benefits, and smaller generation of workers coming in to replace them, there are rightfully fears about its fate in the future. There will be fewer workers paying to fund the social security for a larger number of retirees. The main fear is that by the time the new generations, usually called X and Y, reach retirement age funding for the service may dry up because of so many baby boomers overwhelming their successors' ability to fund it.

People are less likely to make the fundamental attribution error if:
Leto [7]

This can be reduced if people suspect and take into consideration possible external factors or are motivated to use more effort in accurately viewing the situation. This stems from the knowledge that Fundamental Attribution Error or the Correspondence Bias (though some psychologists think they should not be used interchangeably) means that you are undeservedly explaining persons behavior by some internal factors (character or intention) instead of outside, external factors but when you do the same thing you will explain it by external factors. For example, if a person A is cut off in traffic by person B, the person A will think it is because person B is mean, selfish or something similar instead of taking into consideration that he maybe had to make the green light or his wife was giving birth or he was late. If a person A did that they would look at the external factors like being late and not because they are bad at driving or an unpleasant person. So basically you need to be more considerate and try to understand why would someone do something instead jumping to conclusions.
