Renee's dad refused to let her go to the new park alone. He insisted that it was unsafe. She could not understand why. "But Papa

" she said, "it's only four blocks away!" On their next trip, her father looked around. "It's a great park" he agreed. "But I still don't like the idea of you crossing so many streets by yourself to get here." Eventually, Renee and her father made a deal that they would walk to the park together every day for two weeks. If she could make good decisions and cross the streets safely, she would be allowed to go by herself after that. Two weeks later, Renee made her first solo trip to the park and returned, brimming with pride, to tell her father all about it. Which statement best expresses a theme of this story? A. Parents are usually correct about things, so children should listen to them. B. Parents need to balance protecting their children with letting them be independent C. Children are too young to behave responsibly in traffic and should not be allowed to walk alone. D. If parents and children can work together, cities can be safer for everyone

In a raisin in the sun, what does mama want to have someday?
horsena [70]
In "A Raisin in the Sun" shows Mama's dream someday of having her own little garden at the back of her own house. Though she's close at quitting and giving up her dream, nurturing her plants simply implies that she's not giving up her dream, herself and of course, her children as well.
