Honduras was inhabited by various indigenous groups especially the Mayans. And they also built numerous sacred cities and important places in and around the city.
But after the collapse of the Mayan culture, many different indigenous people began scattering in all parts of Honduras, settling in different locations. And with that, their respective languages also began to spread.
