According to my undertsanding, the story is about a young boy name Ponyboy, he lives with his two older brothers, the book and the movei have many similarities as well as differences for example, the death of some of the characters. It discusses, the life of all of the boy from ponyboy up until Dally, we get to understand the story more, because it is told from Ponyboy's point of view. Therefore, we the readers have a deeper understanding of the story and the characters emotions.
