“The Treasure of Lemon Brown” by Walter Dean Myers tell the story of Greg a boy who want to continue playing basketball but his father does not want to let him because he is falling math, during a rainy night he goes out from home and meet Lemon Brown who has a treasure, the thugs try to steal it and Greg and Lemon fight to defend it, after that Lemon shows to Greg the treasure and with this he learned the value of family and goes back with father. The relationship between they two change in this excerpt:
