Absolutely horrendous. There were no Child labor laws, meaning that children would face practical slave labor and unsafe conditions while working in factories. The machines in these factories were anything but safe, and it was not uncommon for someone to lose a finger, and/or die due to an affect of the machine. When the war was over, there were less than 20,000 Jews in Germany. If the Holocaust hadn’t occurred, Europe would be more peaceful, and Jews like Anne Frank would have lived more. It’s a sad story to tell, since the Holocaust permanently changed the history of Europe.
