Answer:1. Modified-block style: About two-thirds across the page, align the following items: dateline, complimentary close, and signature block. All other parts begin at the left margin. There’s a variation of the modified-block style in which the first line of each paragraph is indented, usually five spaces. Full-block style: Begin all lines at the left margin. Simplified style: Begin every line at the left margin. Omit the formal salutation, the complimentary close, and the handwritten signature; instead, type an uppercase subject line three lines below the inside address and an uppercase typed signature on the fifth line below the body.

1. Modified-block style is format of letter in which the placement of the heading, date, complimentary close, signature and identification lines start about halfway across the page and have to be aligned vertically.

Full-block style is format of the letter in which the placement of heading, date, complimentary close, signature and identification lines are all justified to the left margin.

Simplified style is combination of full-block and semi-block letter formats. Simplified style has all letter parts justified to the left margin like full-block style, except company logo or letter head and the date line that is slightly right of the center.

2. When writing a report you should never lose sight of your main topic. In light of proving your thesis on chosen topic you should explain what you know or what you have discovered with little emphasis on how you got there. To achieve that you should always be concise, clear, informative.

3. The four principal parts found in proposals and reports are summary, body, recommendations and conclusions. Summary is the part in which the main points of proposal or report are briefly stated. Body is the part in which the point is analyzed, explained, rather than just reported. Recommendation is the part in which you should suggest or propose the best course of action. Conclusion is the finishing part of the report in which judgment or decision is reached.

 4. A large hotel wants to relocate some of its parking area. Your company, ABC Contractors, would submit a [permission/consent letter]. Stationery printed with a business name, address, and logo is called [letterhead]. Permission letter is formal request for granting permission or assent for something done or planned by another party. Letter head is the heading at the top of the sheet of the letter. It often used to refer to the whole sheet imprinted with said heading.

Answer:

Many of Emily Dickinson’s greatest poems begin as if responding to an unheard question or request. ‘I’m Nobody! Who are you?’ is one such poem, and ‘I’ll tell you how the Sun rose’ is another. In this post, we offer some notes towards an analysis of this captivating poem.

I’ll tell you how the Sun rose –

A Ribbon at a time –

The Steeples swam in Amethyst –

The news, like Squirrels, ran –

The Hills untied their Bonnets –

The Bobolinks – begun –

Then I said softly to myself –

‘That must have been the Sun

I hope this helps :)
