Whitewashing seemed painful to Tom as he had to do it on a Saturday when all of his friends were busy having fun  Tom really wanted to be with his friends

b. When Ben Rogers arrived, Tom Sawyer pretended to be fully absorbed in his task and continued whitewashing the fence. when Ben teased him about having no work, tom contended by saying that whitewashing is a privilege and one that aunt Polly would only trust him.

Tom convinced Ben to whitewash the fence by showing him that he loved his work and it was very interesting and entertaining. Tom also made the work more desirable and hard to get so that Ben would want it even more

I learned how to play volleyball. the steps i took to learn it is first practice the skills everyday like setting, serving , just keeping the ball up. and also playing with people who know how to already play , and that helped me become really good. hope this helped and that u get an 100% :!!
