My brother takes his bike out. I need to fix my bike. The seat wobbles on bumpy roads. The pedals slip a lot, and the chain is loose. I tell my father about the problems. He offers to help and gets out his toolbox. Dad and I tighten many of the screws and bolts. I fill the tires with air, and Dad adjusts the chain. Now my brother and I enjoy riding to school together.
I think the answer is B) The students could not hear the bell ring in the cafeteria. If the arguement was hard to ignore, then they probably couldn't hear the bell.
