Nitella [24]

Answer:

Athens, Sparta, Thebes, Corinth.

Explanation:

The people of Greece lived in independent city-states. Greek city-states had various types of government: monarchy, oligarchy, and direct democracy. Over time, the male citizens of Athens gained the power to make political decisions. Athens is often called the birthplace of democracy.

Additional Information For the Answer: Some of the most important city-states were Athens, Sparta, Thebes, Corinth, and Delphi. Of these, Athens and Sparta were the two most powerful city-states. Athens was a democracy and Sparta had two kings and an oligarchic system, but both were important in the development of Greek society and culture.

Hope this information helps you!

In the space below, answer the following questions. Be prepared to write 250 words.
Airida [17]
1. the role of a woman was at first good in a way because they were with the men out-and-about but later when “homes” were built and they werent like nomadic then women would stay in the house and prepare the food etc, overtime women had been seen as lesser and they were seen as property and nothing more than that, not allowed education just “useful for marriage” basically as time goes on it just gets worse and in america during the 80s n so even before like its still bad because the men are making decisions over abortion still have toxic views against women however now its a bit better but still work to be done ig

2. i think both mother and father are important because the child looks up to the both of them and they see how their mother or father acts and theyll “inherit” their behavior in a way obviously a child doesnt need both because a mom can be both the mother and father and same for the fathers but both influence the way the child acts idk if this helped

3. now women are maybe more “educated” on certain topics? the way the women lived their life whatever they dont like to see in the world theyll make sure their child isnt raised to end up like that

idk if any of this helped

as a hurricane passes overhead and the heavy wind and rain has stopped it may suddenly became clim why is it bad idea to assume
DedPeter [7]
As a hurricane passes overhead and heavy wind and rain has stopped, it may suddenly become calm and it is a bad idea to assume that the danger has passed because it would be the eye of the hurricane passing through. As soon as the eye passes away, heavy winds and rain are again going to start.

Conditional Probability
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

Here, total number of students is = (3+1+4+2+7+9+6+5) = 37

Event A represents Girls and event B represets Seniors.

Number of girls who are senior students is = 5

Number of senior students is = 5+2 = 7.

Now, P(A\cap B) = [Number of girls who are senior students] / [Number of total students]

i.e., P(A\cap B)=\frac{5}{37}

And, P(B) = [Number f senior students] / [Number of total students]

i.e., P(B)=\frac{7}{37}

Then, P(ANB) P(AB) = P(B)

i.e., P(A|B)=\frac{5/37}{7/37}

i.e., P(A|B)=\frac{5}{7}

Therefore, \boldsymbol{P(Girl|Senior)=\frac{5}{7}}
