Answer:

A). Dromedary.

Explanation:

'Dromedary' is characterized as the most commonly found type of camels and the most fit to survive in harsh climatic conditions. They are the 'single humped' camels which comprise around 94% of the global camel population and also known by the names like Arabian camel, Somali camel, etc. The adapatation mechanisms of dromedarian camels are so great that it allows them to survive in the parched areas having higher temperature and water scarcity. Thus, option A is the correct answer.

which sentence best describes the tone of the passage from the radio broadcast compared to the passage from the book ?
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

B. The radio broadcast has a more surprised tone.

Explanation:

The War of the Worlds is a book by H. G. Wells, which was also adapted as a radio broadcast by Orson Welles. In its book form, the story is told after the events (a Martian invasion) have taken place. They are also told in a more matter-of-fact tone. On the other hand, in the radio broadcast, the events are told in a way that makes it seem as if they were happening in the moment. The speaker sounds more scared, and the overall tone is more surprised.
