Though the play Romeo and Juliet takes place hundreds of years in the past, there are some similarities in our marriage values t
solniwko [45]

Answer:

Explanation:

Well according to the tragic death of Romeo and Juliet, times were obviously different. Wealthy families that has a daughter, such as Juliet, was forced to marry someone they don't even know { ACT 3 SCENE 5}. In Romeos case, he would have to marry someone in the same level as him ( which was Juliet, however they were rivals). As well as the knowledge to read and write- comparing it to the capulets servant, he did not know how to read b/c in that moment he was a serf. ( basically a peasent { found in ACT 1 SCENE 2}). Now a days many people today know how to read a write as well as the freedom to be with whomever we desire. I HOPE THIS HELPED YOU OUT =)!

Which event, if it were to come next in this story, would best show how
Lelechka [254]

The dramatic irony can be seen in option D, which shows the sentence "The lawyer holds his breath, knowing that if Fatima signs the contract, she will lose everything."

What is dramatic irony?

 • It is a literary resource.
 • Occurs when the character does not know specific information about his actions, but the reader does.

Dramatic irony provides all the necessary information to the reader, but not to the character who continues to act unaware of what might happen.

An example of this can be seen in option D, because Fatima does not know that if she signs the contract, the lawyer will have a big loss, but the reader knows this.

In this way, the reader feels motivated to know how the character's actions will develop even with the omission of information and the unpredictability of the script.
