Explanation:

The heat capacity increase due to more heat is required to break the bonds as bond breaking is endothermic

Ie for metal as one metallic bond hence least heat capacity compared to polymer where it may have many types of bond varying from covalent bond and other force of attraction such as van de waal types

Answer:

Metals are good conductors are heat. Many applications of ceramics, such as their use as insulating materials cause higher heating capacity. In the case of polymers, we have to distinguish between the heat capacity of liquid, rubbery and glassy polymers. The heat capacity increases with increasing temperature, therefore, a liquid or rubbery polymer can hold more energy than a solid polymer.

Explanation:

Valence bond (VB) theory is a chemical bonding theory that explains the chemical bonding between two atoms. Like molecular orbital (MO) theory, it explains bonding using principles of quantum mechanics. According to valence bond theory, bonding is caused by the overlap of half-filled atomic orbitals. The two atoms share each other's unpaired electron to form a filled orbital to form a hybrid orbital and bond together. Sigma and pi bonds are part of valence bond theory.

Bonding, Structure and Properties

The bonding and structure of substances determine their properties.

Bonding is the way the atoms are held together.

The structure is the way the atoms are arranged relative to each other.

There are two major types of structure: giant and molecular.

Giant structures go on indefinitely, whereas molecular structures are made up of groups of atoms.

A student dissolves 4.5 G of sodium chloride into 75 grams of water which of the following statements is correct regarding the r
Jobisdone [24]
"The vapor pressure will decrease and the boiling temperature will increase." When sodium chloride is added to water, the vapor pressure above the resulting salt solution is less than the vapor pressure above the pure water, and the boiling point of the salt solution will be greater than the boiling point of pure water. This results from the introduction of salt molecules to water, in which the salt solution needs a higher temperature for the vapor pressure to be equal to the pressure of the atmosphere.

A scientist is studying a shock wave from an earthquake. What kind of wave is being studying?
34kurt
The answer is an Electromagnetic Wave, because the Idiosyncratic Panacea in the earthquake, has a fluxuating Acrimony that allows the wave to Ostracize, which in turn creates an Electromagnetic charge that charges the wave.
