How do you say “how are you?” to someone who you don’t know very well???
Marat540 [252]

Bonjour !!

To someone you don't know very well, you must use the "vous de politesse" which is a "formal you"

Comment allez-vous ?

OR

Vous allez bien ?

-

if it was to someone you know well, as a friend, you'd say

Comment vas-tu ?

OR

Tu vas bien ?

Hope this helps ☺☺☺

Hello! So I was wondering for French, why do we use the feminine and masculine pronouns and nouns? Aren't they just the same thi
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

Well I know, Generally, masculine nouns could ends with “o”, “us” and “son” in languages, and feminine ends with “a”. This happens with languages derived from Italic indo-european language family such as spanish, portuguese and italian.

But I'm not sure if it is the same with French.
