To avoid sounding too forward, you should avoid addressing the reader by name in a cover letter.
Pavel [41]
I believe this is true, because addressing the reader's name is sort of informal and not suitable in a cover letter.

Explain the adverb distinction between the underlined terms. 1 Priyanka is sitting in front. 2) Rahul is inside. 3) The car was
Gekata [30.6K]

Explanation:

Remember, an adverb often refers to a word that modifies or describes a verb, or an entire sentence. Note, the bolded word indicates the adverb in each sentence below:

1) Priyanka is sitting in front.

The adverb distinction here is that it answers the question of where? In other words, where is Priyanka sitting? in front.

2) Rahul is inside.

This adverb also answers the question of where? In other words, where is Rahul? inside.

3) The car was running fast.

The adverb here answers the question of manner? In other words, in what manner was the car running? fast.

4) Honey sit here.

This adverb also answers the question of where? In other words, where should "Honey" sit? here.

[1] When the twins grew up, they continued to fight. [2] One day they decided to hold a contest to determine who was stronger. [
Oliga [24]

It is a simple sentence.

A simple sentence contains one independent clause - which is the case with sentence 7. There is one subject (they) and one verb (rule), which means that it is a simple sentence (because of one verb only). A dependent clause wouldn't be able to stand on its own, and sentence 7 obviously can, which is why it is not dependent.
